Kutandara African Music & Dance Camp
Kutandara’s African Music and Dance Camp is a unique cross-cultural program that gives children an in-depth opportunity to explore music and dance from Zimbabwe. Young people play by ear and build their musical confidence on all levels. No prior musical experience necessary.

UPDATE: Kutandara is moving their Summer Camps online with live instructors in half-day programs. Each morning and afternoon program will feature marimba, mbira, gumboot dancing, rhythm games, singing, and story-telling. Morning sessions (9 to 11:30 am) are geared for ages 7 to 10, while afternoon sessions (1 to 3:30 pm) are geared for ages 10 to 13. The Sunday before camp starts, they will provide a marimba, mallets and an mbira for your camper to use for the week (pick up is at Kutandara). Campers will need to return equipment to Kutandara on Friday each session after camp hours. Equipment will be disinfected on Saturdays using a mild bleach solution.

Kutandara Music & Friendship Tour of Zimbabwe
